The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really proceeding.
